Introduced to bring a playful character to the reception corridors at Fairfax House, the installation forms part of a warm and inviting workspace for Dorrington, designed by Piercy&Company.

Commissioned by Piercy&Company for Apartment 21 a hosting space in North London designed for creatives, First Light and Falling Falling were created in response to the atmospheric qualities and curved architecture of the passageway. The works introduce a quiet flicker of light within the dimly lit space.
Each piece is carefully constructed in response to the client’s individual sensibilities, creating works that are both personal and materially distinctive.
The silk threads have a luminescent quality, causing colour and tone to shift continuously in response to changing light. As a result, each work reveals subtle variations in shade, depth, and reflection over time.
